The NASEI website, hereafter referred to as the “Site,” is comprised of various web pages operated by the National Association of Student Entrepreneurs & Intrapreneurs.

The Site is offered to you conditioned upon your acceptance, without modification, of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein, referred to collectively as the “Terms.” Your use of the Site constitutes your agreement to these Terms. Please read these Terms carefully and keep a copy for your reference.

Website Purpose

The Site functions as an informational, engagement, registration, and communication platform for individuals and institutions interested in NASEI programs and activities, including:

• Student entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship
• Campus chapter development and participation
• Leadership and professional development
• Educational programming and events
• Networking and community engagement
• Chapter resources and organizational initiatives
• Partnership and sponsorship opportunities

NASEI is a national student-led organization focused on empowering students from every discipline to lead, innovate, create opportunities, and make an impact through entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship.

Communications and Messaging Consent, A2P Compliance

By providing your contact information through the Site and affirmatively opting in to communications, including through chapter interest forms, registration forms, event registrations, contact forms, or other opt-in forms, you consent to receive communications from NASEI as described at the point of collection.

SMS Messaging Terms

By affirmatively opting in to receive SMS messages from NASEI:

Electronic Communications

Visiting the Site, submitting forms, or sending emails to NASEI constitutes electronic communications.

User Responsibility

If you create an account, submit a chapter application, register for a program or event, or otherwise provide information through the Site, you are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and current.

If account credentials are provided, you are responsible for maintaining their confidentiality and for activities conducted through your account.

NASEI reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to the Site or its programs when reasonably necessary to protect the Organization, its members, participants, or community, or to address violations of these Terms or applicable policies.

Age Requirement

The Site is primarily intended for college and university students, campus leaders, educators, administrators, partners, and other individuals interested in NASEI.

Individuals under eighteen (18) years of age should obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian before submitting personal information, registering for programs requiring such consent, or opting into marketing communications where required by applicable law.

NASEI does not knowingly collect personal information online from children under thirteen (13) years of age without legally required parental consent.

Educational and Professional Development Disclaimer

NASEI provides educational, leadership, entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, professional development, and related programming.

Information provided through the Site or NASEI programs is for educational and informational purposes and should not be considered legal, financial, investment, medical, or other licensed professional advice.

Participation in NASEI does not guarantee employment, internships, business success, funding, income, investment, or any particular academic or professional outcome.

Chapter, Membership, Program and Event Registration

Certain NASEI chapters, memberships, events, programs, conferences, or activities may require registration, applications, dues, fees, or other participation requirements.

Specific eligibility, payment, refund, cancellation, attendance, and participation policies may be provided during registration or through separate program or chapter documentation.

NASEI reserves the right to modify, reschedule, postpone, or cancel programs and events when reasonably necessary.

Campus Chapters

Recognition or participation as a NASEI campus chapter may be subject to NASEI's chapter requirements, policies, standards, and applicable rules of the participating college or university.

Use of the NASEI name, trademarks, logos, chapter materials, and other intellectual property does not transfer ownership of those materials to a campus chapter, student member, advisor, university, or other participant.

Additional chapter requirements may be established through chapter agreements, charters, handbooks, or other organizational policies.

Links to Third-Party Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, registration systems, social media services, payment processors, or other external resources.

NASEI does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, availability, security, or policies of third-party services.

Intellectual Property and Acceptable Use

Unless otherwise stated, Site content, including the NASEI name, logos, branding, written materials, educational materials, program frameworks, graphics, photographs, videos, and other content, is owned by or licensed to NASEI and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Users agree not to:

• Use the Site for unlawful purposes
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt Site operations
• Misrepresent affiliation with NASEI
• Copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit protected NASEI content without authorization

Communication Services and User Submissions

The Site may provide forms, applications, surveys, registration tools, or other methods for submitting information.

Liability Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NASEI makes no guarantee that the Site will operate without interruption or error.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NASEI shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of the Site or participation in NASEI programs.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, users agree to indemnify and hold harmless NASEI and its officers, directors, representatives, employees, and authorized agents from claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from the user's unlawful misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of the rights of another person.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes arising from the use of the Site shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts of competent jurisdiction in the District of Columbia, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to Terms

NASEI reserves the right to update or modify these Terms from time to time.

The effective date displayed at the top of this page will indicate when these Terms were most recently updated. Continued use of the Site following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
